SDSU Fulbright U.S. Student Program

U.S. Student Fulbright Program

Applications Open April 2, 2024 for the 2025-2026 Award Cycle!
Connecting People. Connecting Nations.

The U.S. Student Fulbright Program was established in 1946 to "enable the government of the United States to increase mutual understanding between people of the United States and other countries." It pursues this goal through the international exchange of students, scholars, and professionals. Opportunities are given to undertake graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and teaching English in elementary and secondary schools worldwide.

Since 2005, over 100 SDSU students have received U.S. Fulbright grants.
Current students and recent alumni can apply through SDSU. To learn more, attend an SDSU info session in the spring semester. General information about the various grant options and selection criteria is available at the U.S. Fulbright Student Program website.
